Everyone laughed so high to a point they almost cried. Maya felt her tummy ache after laughing so much.

Ema stuck her tongue and Klavier just laughed.

Maya laughed.
-Damn Nick, that was rough!
-Better me than Sae. I was this close to punching him. Phoenix said.
-Nick’s jelly… — Maya singsong in amusement.

Simon started to laugh too and Iris holds her laugh.

The silence fell in the place and everyone looked at each other before yelling in unison.

-Besides, we decided it’s about time to tell already. We are keeping our relationship in secret for too long and that frustrates both of us.
-You… Both? — Apollo asked confused. Phoenix sighed heavily.
-Yeah. Can you imagine how frustrating is to keep a secret you had a solid relationship with the woman you love? Do hide that every single day? Do you think is that nice to keep your happiness quietly so much?
-No… is not… Actually, I can understand why do you, Truce, Sae, mom, and even Iris kept that a secret… First because of Kristoph, but then I think then comes the Phantom, then…
Apollo sighed tiredly.
-Yeah. Honestly, you decide to have this a secret just because is your private life is one thing, but when you have threats to your life and to people close to you is another thing… — Thalassa said sadly.
-To imagine your life took such a turn and you couldn’t be truly happy… I know it’s not my fault, but still… — Klavier said downed as well.
-And even worse is to imagine what if… — Ema said, but Phoenix interrupted.

-I know. Now, back to the story. We went to a festival of Jazz. I, Nicky and Trucy. On that occasion, we decided to enjoy the festival and listen to good music.
-That festival was a special show which was held at Jay’s Host, a jazz club near the Sunshine Coliseum. There have excellent drinks and excellent music.
-Especially Frank Sinatra. — Phoenix said with a smile, then we sang. — ~Fly to the moon…~
-Remembering that moment? — Sae asked.
-Yeah. We danced… And you’re way more gorgeous than ever.
-And you’re an incredible dapper for a hobo.
Phoenix laughed.
-True. But it was a special occasion, so I need to be dapper and stylish.

-Sang well? We were incredible. I loved singing with you! And you were so awesome! — Trucy said, coming back from Phoenix’s office with a photo in her hands. — That was an incredible moment. I wish we all could sing together one day.
-Pollo, we have to. You also have a lovely voice. — Ema commented. — And with your mother and sister will be incredible.
Apollo rubbed his hands against his horns in pure embarrassment.

Phoenix laughed.
-True. Well, after Sae and Trucy gave an impressive show, we went to the bar. Obviously, we drank non-alcohol drinks and we enjoyed the music.
-The thing is I and Trucy won the contest. And we were invited to sing again.
-Sae and Trucy’s performance was amazing. I never had to enjoy someone singing Marvin Gaye with such passion.
-And after that, we took a photo in celebration.
Trucy showed to them the photo of them. Phoenix was with his hair down, not combed in his usual style for the first time, wearing a black trilby hat with a blue hatband, black leather jacket, dark blue polo shirt, and a pale khaki. Sae was dressed in an elegant black dress with slim straps over her shoulders, and Trucy was with a similar outfit, but less revealing than Sae’s dress. All of them were smiling at the magician, the prosecutor, and the attorney held a golden trophy shaped in a saxophone.
-WOW! I never expected Sae became even more gorgeous than she is! — Maya commented perplexed.
-Such elegancy. It really should be a special occasion for you to have your hair down Phoenix. — Franziska commented noticing the different look of the blue defense attorney.
-Sae was right! I never saw you so dapper! — Ema and Athena commented.
-You truly impressed me once more Wright-dono. — Simon said.
-Damn… You look like my Dad… So stylish. — Apollo commented.
-Apollo has a point. Never imagined you so stylish… — Thalassa said with some shock.
-Nick, you always are a box full of surprises. I never saw that one coming from you. — Mia said with a smile.
-Dude… What the hell!? — Larry yelled perplexed.
-Heavens to Betsy! — Rayfa exclaimed impressed.
-Pohlkunka! — Nahyuta exclaimed surprised as well.
-Feenie… — Iris said perplexed.
-Sir… I’m sorry… but who’s this person? — Gumshoe asked confused.
“Why we are not impressed…” Everyone thought, seeing the detective laughed.
-Just kiddin’ sir! I knew is Mr. Wright… I mean, his…
-Gumshoe… — Sae warned.
-Honey, please don’t. — Maggey warned. — Mr. Wright, I have to say, you look dapper.
-Thanks, guys. Well, back to the story. After that, we went to our seats and we decided to enjoy the rest of the night. At that moment I looked at her eyes, and I know I want to spend my life with her.
-Then he comes closer and asked if I want to marry him, and I accepted. I never felt so happy at that moment. When I looked at his eyes, I was sure of my decision.

Maya stood up and hugged Phoenix and Sae in a soft embrace.
-I’m happy for you two… And honestly, I wish all the happiness for you two.

Franziska rose one of her eyebrows.

Phoenix laughed at Maya behavior and everyone left the office. It was rare for him to be so nice to pay everyone for something, but they knew he wanted to celebrate, after all, he wanted to show how they’re happy.
-It was a long day…
-True, but I can’t imagine our meeting went in another way.
Phoenix and Sae were laid on bed after their intimate moment. To both have a good chat after having sex was good to improve their intimacy and to relax and reflex how was their day. And that was also a habit of both and none were feeling tired enough to went to sleep.
-I imagine how they reacted if everything went as we planned.
-And what’s the verdict?

He laughed and started to admire the brown-reddish eyes of Sae.

Phoenix glanced at the ceiling.

Sae frowned.
-True. I thought they won’t accept it well. Especially Maya and Miles.
-I thought you were afraid of Pearl’s reaction.
-Her too, but they are your best friends, and they are your family here.
-You are my best friend and my family Sae too. I always going to fight you as I fought for them. And after they knew you enough, they will accept you as the incredible person you are. Sae you are one of the most incredible persons I know, and if I could I had done everything again to end together with you.
-Me too. I can’t imagine my life without you anymore and honestly, is fun to have someone so different from you as a partner.

-A partner, my best friend, my lover, my boyfriend, and in the future my husband. But for me you already all of them.
Phoenix stared at her for a brief moment before kiss Sae. For them no matter what happens, they will always be together in the future. Sae ran her fingers into his hair and giggle.
-Your hair is so soft…
-I know…
-You know, I love when your hair is natural…
-Hm… I should leave natural for once.
-Better not. If I don’t be careful someone could take you from me.
-As if that going to happen. And besides, I should be the one careful here.

They kissed and both smiled, realizing that also was going to be a long night.
